For over 20 years, CASEL has been a leading organization in advancing and promoting integrated academic, social, and emotional learning for students from preschool through high school. The CASEL website includes a library of up-to-date resources and tools on social and emotional learning (SEL). The library is organized by topic, one of which is assessment. (The link to the collection of SEL assessment resources is found in the upper right hand corner of this page.) Each SEL assessment resource found in the library has a short summary and a direct link to the source document.
Overall, CASEL's website is a highly useful resource to all stakeholders interested in learning about implementing SEL at the school, district, and state levels. The resources found in its library are drawn from research, practice, and policy. In particular, the SEL assessment resources include books, reports/issue briefs, and guides/tools/artifacts. The reports and tools are free to access; however, the books need to be purchased.
