The STEM Learning and Research Center (STELAR) supports the National Science Foundation's Innovative Technology Experiences for Students and Teachers (ITEST) program. One of the main goals of the STELAR website is to synthesize and disseminate ITEST project findings. This supports the research and development of innovative models for engaging K-12 students in authentic experiences that build their capacity to participate in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
One of the most helpful pages on the STELAR website is its resource section. Resources created by STELAR or are related to ITEST project use are included in the library, such as publications, instruments, curricular materials, and videos. In addition, metadata filters on the resource page allow users to quickly search for resources. Particularly useful is the Instruments sub-section of the Resources tab. A description of the instrument, links to the instrument, and information about the instruments' disciplines, topics, target participants, and grade span are included. All resource information can be downloaded into an Excel file. This website is an especially helpful tool for educators looking for instruments and measures related to STEM education.
