Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Assistance

On December 10, 2015, President Obama signed into law the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), which reauthorizes the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. To assist states in the planning and implementation of ESSA, CSAI has created four documents, highlighting key ESSA requirements related to standards, assessment, and accountability, specifically those requirements for which CSAI can provide support to states.

Planning for Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA): Standards, Assessment, and Accountability

This document outlines considerations for states as they implement their approved consolidated ESSA state plans.

Included are the different supports CSAI can provide to states and districts as they implement the standards, assessment, and accountability provisions of their ESSA plans.
