Majority of STEM Educators Have Favorable View of the NGSS

May 5, 2015

A recent study, the 2015 Business Report: National Survey STEM Education, surveyed around 5,000 K-12 science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) teachers and supervisors. The results revealed that 80% of respondents were familiar with the Next Generation Science Standards, and of those, 60% had a favorable view of them. Six percent of the respondents had a negative impression of the NGSS, and the remaining respondents had a neutral impression.
