New Poll Shows Support for the Principles of the Common Core

The new poll from Public Policy Polling (PPP), commissioned by the Center for American Progress, shows overwhelming support from those surveyed for the underlying fundamentals and principles of the Common Core State Standards. Key takeaways include: 90% of those surveyed agreed that raising standards will make the US more competitive and 78% approved of annual tests in English and math to see that their schools are serving their populations.
